Positions

Inside Sales Associate

Medrio is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help us grow our business by generating new leads and extending relationships with existing clients. Your customers will include academic institutions, pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device companies and companies catering to them, such as CROs, research consortiums and consulting organizations. Your primary responsibilities will include generating and managing customer relationships as well as working with the direct sales team and CEO.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Prior sales experience with demonstrated results in establishing and managing customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility with sophisticated customers such as MDs, PhDs and others in the clinical research community
  • Highly motivated and independent producer

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of clinical research in both academic and private sectors
  • Software sales experience, especially with subscription-based software
  • Familiarity with statistics and/or statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, Minitab, etc
  • Experience with data management processes or software
  • Experience with sales to the pharmaceutical sector and to academic research centers

 

Software Developer

Medrio is seeking a talented software developer with C# and ASP.net experience to contribute to the ongoing development of our web-based software products. We are looking for smart, innovative and self-motivated individuals to help ensure that we are delivering the highest quality product to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing new features as well as providing ongoing product maintenance focused on improving the user experience. You will work with product managers and senior managers in defining requirements as well as working closely with the rest of the development team to implement quality code.

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years of development experience using ASP.net and C#
  • JavaScript, CSS, XML, DHTML, AJAX
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Subversion
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of OO development and design practices
  • Highly motivated and independent producer
  • Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills 

Desired Skills:

  • UI Design and/or graphics experience
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture system
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, especially SCRUM

Biostatistician

Medrio is seeking a biostatistician to provide expertise in supporting our clinical research software. The position's responsibilities primarily consist of creating statistical sections for synopses, performing statistical analysis, developing and performing statistical tests for validation, contributing to the development of SOPs and other documentation, and working with the development team to provide leadership in data analysis.

Essential Skills:

  • M.S. degree or higher-level degree in mathematics, statistics or related field
  • 3+ years experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or other clinical research
  • Experience in clinical study design
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applied statistics in the design and analysis of clinical trials and proficiency in statistical software such as SAS or SPSS.
  • Understand and be able to apply statistical principles, theories, and techniques to a wide range of problems in the clinical study environment

Desired Skills:

  • PhD in mathematics, statistics or related field
  • Experience with multiple statistical software platforms
  • Experience with statistical software used in clinical research 

 

Technical Support Engineer

Medrio is seeking an experienced helpdesk/technical support professional to provide highly specialized support assistance to our clients using our web-based software products in the clinical research fields. Your position will require you to interact with customers as well as the Medrio development team in order to resolve client requests. The ability to resolve issues creatively, communicate clearly and pay attention to detail is essential. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, tracking and resolving customer support requests, trouble-shooting technical problems, collaborating with the development team to diagnose, document and resolve problems, and report progress to team leaders.

Essential Skills:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in customer-facing position
  • Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow issues to closure
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Technical competency with standard business applications such as Excel, Word and Access

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with issue tracking software systems such as TRACK
  • Experience with statistical software platforms
